Summer turns to Fall

It’s been a while, friends. Way too long, actually! I’ve been missing posting in my little space, and even my husband has been periodically telling me that we really need to get back to the blog! I lost my first [fur] baby, Chia, unexpectedly almost 6 weeks ago, and the only positive outcome of grieving is that sometimes you’re inspired to do new things, or get back to passions that you have let go. I ran/walked my first 5K last weekend, and here I am back to my little blog!

I found this dress at Target at the beginning of the summer, and it has been one of my favorites pieces of the year. It’s just lovely and can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. It always gets compliments and feels like one of those dresses that give you an extra boost. The colors are still perfect for fall, especially for those days when it gets warm in the afternoon, and I think it could easily be layered up with a great little suede or leather jacket.

  1. I am so glad you are back! First, let me say that I am very sorry for the loss of your furbaby. We get so attached to them and it is heart hurting when they leave us.
The dress is one of those that is so versatile and the color is fantastic for that transition time. Of course you look beautiful in it!

    Much love,
