Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!! Mine was lovely because we had good times with friends—celebrating a milestone, making music and catching up while enjoying the beautiful weather. We also went to a Roaring 20s symphony event on Saturday, and dressing up for it was so fun! I ordered a couple of 1920s accessories on Amazon, watched a YouTube tutorial for how to do the makeup, and wore a sparkly cocktail dress I’ve had for years. I also wore my grandmother’s earrings which are special to me. Loved seeing everyone’s beautiful looks, and putting together something a little bit different and creative!
This dress is just beautiful with its irregular polka dot print, floaty skirt and elegant cuffed sleeves. It’s a perfect weight with the long sleeves—it can easily be layered in colder weather, but will also be lovely with a chic pair of mules or heeled sandals when it’s warmer. I wore it with tights and booties yesterday, but I already can’t wait to wear this for events later this spring. I got my normal size and it was very comfortable with plenty of room, so I would say it runs true to size. Side note: I haven’t been liking any of my tights lately…I need to look for some new ones that are actually opaque, and I also want a sheer pair for dressier occasions. Let me know if you have any favorite brands or recommendations!
